1x1 Super Legos by gpsc 1x1 Super Legos by gpsc
These are two 1x1 "super Legos" I made. The red one is a brick and the yellow is a plate. Just like real plates, I could stack the yellow one three times and it'd be identical to the red one. There's a hole in the bottom of each to accommodate the peg. So here I present Legos in Legos lol

the non-lego stuff in the 3D category on my gallery was done using Caligari trueSpace. But that was many moons ago. I've tried my hand at Blender but I just can't get used to its interface.

blender takes a bit of time to learn....I learned 3d using it....so it never bothered me....but now that i've moved on to better programs it amazes me just how counter-intuitive some things in blender are.....either way....i'm a helper for blender over at :icon3d-asuarus:
you should join up there and hang out in the chat room ^^

Personally I'd make the edges 1 stud thinner to get it closer to the real thing.

I see your point... I tried that but I couldn't get the scale right that way either...
