D1 First Boss

When I was part of a modding group for Descent 3 (who had a history in the other two iterations) there was talk of remaking one of their old mods. It would have been a fairly easy task, but it had some robots in it, which weren't carried over from D1/D2 to D3 (Guide-Bot, Thief Bot, and Class 1 Drone were the only carry-overs) The two bots that I started working on were the first boss from the first Descent, and the Medium lifter [link] . This is an alpha version of my interpretation of the boss. I still had polygon restrictions since this was still a videogame, but fans of the game can see the enhancements I made. I've never shown this picture to anybody outside of the group I was in. I wish I could remember who to credit the level for... but I cannot. The bot was made by me, based on the work of Parallax.
