) This has been an idea floating around in my head for some time. after hunting the internet for good flag images, and running several iterations of the mosaic making algorithm, I'm pretty happy with the result. I wish some of the stars had a bit more contrast but an image overlay would be the only way to effectively do that, and I think image overlays are cheating. Appropriately timed finishing this deviation a few days before Independence Day Some flags are cropped to fit a 4:3 ratio.
